Teen & Young Adult’s Loyalty Card launch party (update)

The vouchers at Poole Library are being printed out and over a 1000 vouchers will be launched any time soon. Also we’ve finally got our posters out and have been spread across many schools and buildings. If you would like to have a look at them you can pop into your school library or Poole Library and find one. We’re working on our Instagram Props for the Instagram Competition the 8th of July. If you’d like to enter, just show up at the Poole Library and get your picture taken on the 8/7/17. The winner of the competition will be revealed on Instagram and win a prize. More information will be given weekly so stay updated.

Reading Hack Hi, we are the Poole Reading Hackers and we meet every Wednesday 4:30pm to 5:30pm. We read books and talk about them! We also do projects called HACKS! Our next project is a Loyalty gift card just for teens and young adults (age 13-24). Currently in development, it will reward visits to your local library. We’re going to launch our idea with a brilliant launch party in July… Watch this space for more details!

Reading Hack

Love books? Love reading? Why not come along and join the reading hackers at Poole library; work together to create fun and interesting projects related to the joys of reading! Every Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:30.  No experience needed.

Join us for a free booksigning & cake this Wednesday 21 Jan 3.30-4.30pm at Poole Central Library

We are delighted to announce a new-look Teenage Library for the New Year in Poole Library. To mark the occasion we are inviting Teenagers to pop along to Poole Library this Wednesday 21st January between 3.30-4.30 for the chance to meet author Marcus Alexander. He will be on hand to talk about becoming a teenage author and his trilogy of books Keeper of the Realms. There will be a free book signing for teens as well as cake and refeshments.

We hope you can join us and see the new- look space, filled with new titles chosen by teenagers themselves.

All finishers will be entered into a draw for amazing prizes, from rides in a rib, to climbing walls, to Bowlplex tickets to a Pizza Hut voucher!
