It is National Family Week during Half Term and if you are starting to plan what you are going to be doing with your friends and family (apart from visiting the library!) why not come along to our family funday?
The Children’s Library Service are staging a Circus themed funday at Oakdale Library between 11.00-2.00pm on Thursday 2nd June 2011. During the funday there will be circus skills workshops and a show from Jamie Jigsaw, a chance to meet Dillon the giant and adorable rabbit from Farmer Palmer’s as well as quizzes, a huge jigsaw to complete and pin the tail on the rabbit!
The event is free, the library will be open for you to borrow circus themed books and there will be competitions to win some fabulous prizes from Farmer Palmer’s.
