The Daily Mirror has launched a campaign, aiming in particular at the young and how reading can inform, entertain and open up their worlds. The ‘We Love Reading’ campaign has received the support of Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy.
The Mirror reports that one in three children do not own a book and one in four adults did not read a book last year.
